All donations received following the death of George Floyd are granted by the ENAR Foundation to the European Network Against Racism (ENAR aisbl) to support its member organisations across Europe in the current challenging context.

COVID-19 is exacerbating and shining a light on existing structural racism. In this context, anti-racist organisations across Europe and the communities they are working with have been facing many challenges, including adapting to new realities such as online organising, redirecting their resources to provide direct support to their communities at risk, increased exposure to trolling, racial profiling and police violence - all of which has put more pressure on overstretched anti-racist organisers.

The donations will therefore enable ENAR to support the recovery and resilience of its network. They will address ENAR member organisations’ immediate material needs related to remote working, technical equipment, access to digital platforms, activities to support the communities they work with, fixed costs of the organisations. They will also support more long-term resilience by catering for capacity building, coaching, therapy etc. for anti-racist organisers and organisations.
